HARARE – The ruling party through its party spokesperson Patrick Chinamasa is demanding for the mass arrests of all MDC youths activists who participated on the 13 May Demonstration in Warren Park, TSTNews can report.

In a move that is meant to sanitise the ruling party during an international outcry, Chinamasa said the demonstration by the activist and the abduction was done strategically as it all happened during the time government was hosting a regional summit.

“The Party is disturbed by allegations that ZANU PF is behind the alleged abductions and that it’s all a rehearsed script meant to tarnish the image of the Party and its leadership.”

“In addition, the timing of the abduction again came at a time when the President of Zimbabwe had important diplomatic meetings in the country, the same manner that other fake abductions occurred,” Chinamasa said.

He further disputed the possibility of abduction on the three girls Joanna Mamombe, Netsai Marova and Cecilia Chimbiri who disappeared after reports of arrests by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP).

“is worried with reports that the ladies in question are not cooperative and reminds them that this is not a laughing matter especially that the revolutionary Party has been accused of wrongdoing”

“Failure of the 3 complainants to comply with law enforcers will lead to no other conclusion other than that the whole issue was a political theatrical act meant to divert attention from squabbles in MDCs and to cover up for the illegal and dangerous demonstrations in Warren Park.”

Meanwhile in a shocking related matter the case of the three victims of abduction was heard today in a Waterfalls Hospital.

TSTnews understands that during the court hearing the state proposed strict bail conditions for the trio including reporting to the police station three days a week.
