Zimbabweans hope to win the fight against the deadly disease was rekindled as one Covid-19 patient recovered.

The Health and Child Care ministry advised the nation that one of the cases was confirmed as recovered after testing negative for Covid-19 on two samples at least 24 hours apart.
TSTnews learnt that the patient is Mr Saul Sakudya of Ruwa in Mashonaland East who confirmed that he was tested on Sunday and his result came negative.
TSTnews news learnt that this is in line with WHO guidelines that anyone with mild symptoms of Coronavirus can only be released from home isolation after samples collected within 24hours test negative.
Zimbabwe has recorded 18 Covid-19 cases and 3 deaths.
