After the diagnosis Blessing was hospitalised at Kwekwe Hospital for 3 months. Financial incapacitation led to his discharge. Faced with limited options the family was left with no alternative but to seek traditional herbal treatment in its quest to save the boy's life.
Consequently; as Zimbabwe’s leading Think Tank, we believe the nation needs to take the following steps to address the corruption scourge ravaging our nation: 1. Reform key national institutions such Police, Prisons, Judiciary and Legislature. 2. Set up national institutions reporting to Parliament. 3. Permit national institutions to investigate independently. 4. Once a case is established, permit independent judicial process for suspects. 5. If suspects are found guilty, allow the convicted to serve their full sentences.
